Moscow born house producer and visual artist SLAVA known for his association with the Seapunk & Witchhouse movement releases a new song from his album Raw Solutions, entitled ‘Girl Like Me’. With the song comes quite a controversial clip created by director Eugene Kotlyarenko. The narrative introduces a sister played by actress Lauren Avery, who takes her sisterly love a bit too far for her younger brother. It all starts out quite innocent, but at the end of the clip, it might make you want to look the other way (although its not really that explicit). This is what the director had to say about it “People often act against their better interests, with full knowledge. The ugliest behavior is also sometimes the coolest or most beautiful in a different context. Our world is filled with myriad new disjunctions arising from the torrent of changes in technology, communication and social conventions. Life has always been confusing.”
