UNSCHEDULED POETRY
Friday 12th April was the opening night of the new exhibition Unscheduled Poetry. This tribute to poetry took place in the heart of Amsterdam with pop-up poetry, music, pizza and beer by Warsteiner.
The setting for this was MMouse, a fascinating venue in one of the most quiet places of Amsterdam. It’s a place where inspiration gets space and form, where weekly yoga sessions alternate with exhibitions. MMouse Unscheduled is an irregularly recurring drink with a spontaneous and exciting atmosphere. It’s an initiative by Maud van de Wiel and Marjon van der Velden who are aimed at inspiring everyone to live their life to the fullest.
Unscheduled Poetry can be visited in MMouse for four weeks since the opening on 12th April and contains English and Dutch poetry by dozens of selected writers. The opening night was filled with live poetry, video experimentation and music (by Tim & Ties, Kreativ Productions) bringing music and poetry together. The night fit MMouse’s philosophy perfectly: beautiful people brought together, inspiring each other with taste and attention.
The opening night is nicely summarized in this video:
