5 Cuts – A Visual Dialogue is an exhibition that centers around a video installation on one of the greatest fashion masters of our time: Yohji Yamamoto. Many will recognize his name from his Y-3 Adidas collaboration, but let’s not forget that he was one of the designers back in the 80ies who brought that dark avant-garde Japanese style to the West. The video however won’t be a focus on his craftsmanship as fashion designer but more so about the vision behind the man that has accumulated in many other disciplines like literature, music, film and art. The video will premiere on April 28 at MADE, and will be shown until the 5^th of May.
