Palladium: Battersea Power of London
Palladium’s latest campaign takes us off the beaten path as we follow singer-songwriter Eliza Doolittle (Skinny Genes, Pack Up) on a journey to the iconic Battersea Power Station in London.
A symbol of Britain’s power, Battersea Power Station is one of London’s landmarks and is part of British pop culture as it has been featured in The Beatles film Help! and used for the cover art of Pink Floyd’s Animals album in 1977. During her exploration, Eliza discovers that Battersea Power Station will undergo restoration soon, after being deserted for over 30 years, as the area will be transformed into a new cultural hub for the local community.
Palladium has chosen Eliza for this film because she wears the brand herself and seemed the ideal explorer to wander around the concrete of the deserted power station. Barney Waters, vice president of marketing for Palladium: “She has a unique style that complements our boots perfectly and a natural curiosity and sense of adventure, key things we look for in our city explorers.”
Eliza wears boots from Palladium’s SS13 Enzyme Washed Collection which features stonewashed canvas uppers and burnished outsoles to create a vintage, worn-in look. The collection hangs on to the traditional Palladium details, such as the rubber toe cap and a durable rubber outsole. Both men and women can enjoy this collection in Palladium’s iconic Pampa Hi and Baggy silhouettes. Prices range from $70.00- $85.00.
Battersea: Power of London is part of an ongoing series of urban explorations from Palladium, with past ventures visiting Tokyo with Pharrell Williams and Detroit with Johnny Knoxville, among others.
