The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam has finally reopened its door after 8 long years of intense renovation. Besides the extensive design section (product, furniture and graphic), the impressive collection display of modern classics like Mondrian and Malevich as well as our favorite contemporary artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Rineke Dijkstra and Marlene Dumas, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam also hosts  ‘Beyond Imagination’, an exhibition featuring 20 artists who responded to an open call last year (to which 657 artists applied).

‘Beyond Imagination’ features several works with a hybrid, process-based, performative character. For this reason several works are presented in the form of ‘events’.
