MU presents: Under Tomorrow’s Sky

A little while ago MU opened the exhibition ‘Under Tomorrow’s Sky’, which is basically a fictional future city. For the exhibition speculative architect Liam Young assembled a group of scientists, technologists, futurists, illustrators, science fiction authors and special effect artists in order to create this imaginary city.

The city is seen as something organic, that grows and decays because it is a cyclic ecosystem, consisting of a geological formation of caves and grottos covered in soil and slime, and a biological soup of human and non-human inhabitants. They are living together as one, in a symbiotic life form.

THE FUTURE OF OFFLINE FILESHARING

Visit this exhibition until October 28, 2012 at MU artspace in Eindhoven.
