Kitsuné SS13
Written by Niem Tewarie
Former Daft Punk manager Gildas Loaëc and Japanese architect Masaya Kuroki, with their love for music as well as fashion, started electronic music record and fashion label Kitsuné (which means ‘fox’ in Japanese) in 2002. With artists such as Two Door Cinema Club signed with their label and the opening of a flagship store in New York this year, 2012 is definitely a good year for the brand.
In July they gave the world a preview of their SS13 collection. The inspiration behind this collection is, as the designers put it, ‘the West Coast athletic man as an elegant city gentleman’. Blue is a prominent colour in different shades and prints. The collection is preppy with a street style touch to it. This certainly makes us look forward to the summer of 2013.
