Nicolas Andreas Taralis is the latest designer to collaborate with Bruno Pieters’ brand Honest by. Two styles of dresses have been released on the web site. Available in two colours, they showcase the designer’s skilful tailoring and careful selection of fabrics.

After studying at Parsons School of Design in New York and at Vienna’s University of Applied Arts under Helmut Lang, Taralis has worked for various labels including Hedi Slimane’s Dior Homme and has designed his eponymous line since 2004.

Launched earlier this year in January by Belgian design legend Bruno Pieters, the Honest by concept is based on a policy of total transparency in the production process and pricing. For each garment, a list of sources for the materials is available as well as their cost. Shunning the set cycle of seasons, Taralis is the fourth designer to create a collection after Pieters, Muriée and fellow Canadian Calla Haynes.
