At Changi Airport in Singapore, recently this kinetic sculpture was installed. It consists of an impressive 1,216 bronze raindrops suspended from strings, moving to imitate various stages of rainfall, from a gentle drop into a heavy shower. Now that’s my kind of summer rain.
