MYKITA AW2012
Are you looking for a more outstanding pair of sunglasses than the Wayfarer Ray Ban? Eyewear from Berlin based brand MYKITA will make you look gorgeous this summer! All frames are handmade at MYKITA‘s own manufactory in the heart of Berlin. From here, the frames are distributed throughout the world to high-end opticians.
New techniques are developed to make sunglasses fit as comfortable as possible. Innovative materials make the frame flexible and light-weight. In other frames the details are found in a special hinge or the way the glasses held together the frame. The designs are inspired by classic models. The 2012 collection includes i.a. some renewed aviator models, available in black and silver metals, but also in some lovely pastels. The new models of MYKITA’s collaboration with Alexandre Herchcovitch are a homage to the round form, ‘oriented to Le Corbusier’s favourite spectacles; it transfers the big, round and black horn-rimmed classic into the present’.
