Last monday Iris van Herpen showed her last haute couture collection, ‘Micro’, in Paris. Just as her previous collections, she has worked with unusual materials such as plastic and metal, as well as using 3D printing – and laser techniques. In collaboration with artist Bart Hess van Herpen created a sheer snake skin and another collab, again with United Nude, an amazing claw-like shoe collection was created. Although Iris stays true to her signature style, she never ceases to innovate en reinvent her designs. The 27 year-old talent definately stood out at Paris fashion week.
