This weekend sees the start of the internationally renown Dutch Design Week (DDW) event in Eindhoven. This year’s 10th anniversary, in cooperation with guest curators Miriam van der Lubbe and Bruno Ninaber van Eyben, offers a balanced and inspiring program of exhibitions, product launches, lectures, award ceremonies, film and design, kids workshops, pop-up venues, festivities, and many more. It is known for innovation through a sophisticated mix of up-and-coming talent, established designers and renowned bureaus.

DUTCH DESIGN WEEK 2011 T- WORKSHOP
During the 10th anniversary of the Dutch Design Week Kiki van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk will show their latest collaborations and projects. Their new 1.100m2 studio at Strijp-T in Eindhoven, which was only put into use in August 2011, opens its doors to the public with an exhibition called T-Workshop, in which works by Jeroen van Tuyl and Laikingland can be seen.

Fashion as part of design, is the motto of four cultural entrepreneurs in the heart of Eindhoven. YOU ARE HERE, de Krabbedans, Jannissima Concept Store and Galerie Zand unite their forces to offer a fashion related program complementing DDW 2011, called ‘Chained by Fashion.’
