Check out this extraordinary medley of Daft Punk’s greatest hits, performed by the Trinity Orchestra, the only fully student run orchestra in Ireland. It’s the first ever live full orchestral performance of the music of Daft Punk and we think they did a great job turning this mainly electrically produced music into an orchestral piece. We’re not to fond of the vocals though…
The medley was given as an encore after the Trinity Orchestra played Daft Punk’s album ‘Discovery’ in Trinity College Dublin’s Exam Hall, on February 18th, 2011. It wasn’t the Trinity Orchestra’s first flirt with pop music; they’ve also performed music by Radiohead and Sigur Ros.
