Cubic Zirconia is an ethnic disco inspired band, based in New York. The band exists of Tiombe Lockhart, Nick Hook and Daud Sturdivant. Tiombe Lockheart, the only girl in the band, does the vocals of the band and has a bachelor degree of Fine Arts in Vocal Jazz Perfomance. Nick Hook and Daud Sturdivant are mainly responsible for the awesome beats.

Their music has a great vibe and makes you want to dance. Describing their music style, website LuckyMe, which also released their album, says: ‘’ It’s acid inflected pop music that hints towards a tradition of great New York loft parties and the vacious structure of punk bands like ESG and Liquid Liquid.’’

Their debut album is called Follow Your Heart with the singles Fuck Work, Black And Blue and Josephine. Other artists who are featured on Follow Your Heart are Dam – Funk, Drop the Lime, Coultrane and Bilal from the video above.
Saturday April 30 they will be playing live at GlassLands gallery in New York.
