Saturday April 30 it’s time for the annual celebration of the birthday of our former Dutch queen Juliana. This is the day all Dutchies are proud to live in a constitutional monarchy and the whole city turns orange, as it is the national color. As always 29th and 30th of April are packed with parties and events, so to make things easier, we made you a list of the best and included Google Maps links for directions.

Queensnight:

1. During Queensnight Patta, Precinct5 and Mo Manager will host Clubwork Orange at the Chicago Social Club starting from 11 pm. The line-up is covering some of Amsterdam’s finest such as Cinnaman, Vic Crezee, Mc Lyrical Tie, Zo Moeilijk (live), Rimer London + Cata.Pirata (live), 100% Vooraan, RnB Thugs and Bizar.

2. April 29 Paradiso presents Mosh! This night will be full of dubstep, psychedelica, folk music, rock, electronic and hip-hop, brought to you by The Gaslamp Killer, Reso, Gomes, Cinnaman and MC Drew.

Queensday:

1. On the corner of Vijzelstraat and Herengracht DJ Broadcast and Jagermeister host a party with the best of house and techno. Performing DJ’s are Dimitri, Eric de Man, Steve Rachmad and many more. From 12 pm until 9 pm.

2. At the Westermarkt, Crackhouse presents a gay minded party with Erik de Man, Aron Friedman, Brent Roozendaal Carlos & Sandrien and Sven & Tettero. There’s a dress code, so in exchange for the usual orange afro wig, dress up as a dragking or queen and go along with the eight hour special, starting at noon.

3. After Clubwork Orange on Queensnight, Patta continues with Queensday party El Haloef Litsjini at Toko MC in Westerpark. The line-up includes Lando Kal, Mr. Wix, Vic Crezée, Beesmunt, Tom Trago, Strange Boutique, Cinnaman, Beatrix Collin, Radical Hi-Fi, Aardvarck amongst others.

4. This year is the second edition of the Poolparty at the Marnixplantsoen. From 11 am until 8 pm there will be live acts by the Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, The Opposites, The Partysquad, Sef and Baskerville and DJ’s Joost van Bellen, Wannabe a Star, RiptidE, Dem Slackers and Henzel & Disco Nova.

5. For all you die hards, Club up hosts the Dekmantel Q-day after party. The party goes on from 8 pm until 4 am. The line-up includes DJ’s such as: Aron Friedman, Berend Kirch, Casper Tielrooij, Gijs Tettero, Jeroen Kok, Jorrit Weeda, Makam,San Proper, Thomas Martojo, Uptight Ed and William Kouam Djoko.
