Bonaparte is a Berlin- based, but very multicultural band with band members from Germany, France, America, Switzerland, Mexico, Israel, Persia, New Zealand, Panama, Austria, Poland & Brazil. The band has an electro-trash-punk sound, with the energy of punk with poppy lyrics, the beat of swing with a techno rhythm. The lyrics tend to be funny but have a criticizing message as well. The band has an experimental way of performing; dressed up as 18th centuries kings and queens, bears and roller disco dancers is quite common for Bonaparte. It’s best described as a circus team that just finished work and comes together backstage to finish the party off by making their own music.
