Norwegian band Kakkmaddafakka was formed in Bergen in 2006. After brothers Axel and Pål Vindenes met Jonas Nielsen and Stian Sævig in school, the guys started producing energetic pop/indie songs that contain influences of rap, funk and disco. After co-Bergen native Erlend Øye of The Whitest Boy Alive and Kings of Convenience stepped in to give the band a hand in producing their upbeat tunes, positive words about the emerging group started to spread real fast.
