Kakkmaddafakka \ Restless
Norwegian band Kakkmaddafakka was formed in Bergen in 2006. After brothers Axel and Pål Vindenes met Jonas Nielsen and Stian Sævig in school, the guys started producing energetic pop/indie songs that contain influences of rap, funk and disco. After co-Bergen native Erlend Øye of The Whitest Boy Alive and Kings of Convenience stepped in to give the band a hand in producing their upbeat tunes, positive words about the emerging group started to spread real fast. Last month, Kakkmaddafakka released its second album Hest on the German label Bubbles. Listen to the band’s awesome tune called Restless above and meet this summer’s festival hit.
