A 60’s influenced psych-pop singer named Anika has us head bobbing this week. The Berlin-based singer from London sounds like a modern, less-druggie version of Nico, the classic beauty who sang with The Velvet Underground and was high on heroin for the bigger part of her life. Last December, Anika released her album on the legendary label Stones Throw. A little bit weird but pretty inspiring.
