The Hundred in the Hands \ Commotion
A lot of good things come from New York, there’s no doubt about that. Another electro pop duo from Brooklyn has set foot on ground in the music industry: The Hundred in the Hands. Formed in 2008 by Eleanore Everdell and Jason Friedman, The Hundred in the Hands (often abbreviated as THITH) produces synthpop songs that are danceable and a little dreamy.
Friedman used to be part of indie rock bank The Boggs, but when he met Everdell, he instantly fell for her musical charm and the two started working on their first song called Dressed in Dresden. This single was released in early 2009 and a lot has happened since then. THITH signed a deal with Warp Records, put out their self-titled album in May of last year and went on an international tour. If you’d like to see THITH perform, head over to the band’s extraordinary website and check out their tour schedule.
