Check out this interesting interview with Richie Hawtin; he discusses the work he’s done since 1993 under the moniker of Plastikman and the production of his special box set Arkives, which is available on pre-order through December 31.

Arkives comes in four formats called Reference, Analog, Digital and Collection. Reference is the biggest, with 11 discs featuring remastered versions of the six Plastikman albums and five CD’s of unreleased material. In addition, the box includes a 64-page book and a DVD called Optik, which features Plastikman videos and rare footage of his ’95 Glastonbury performance.
