Red Light Radio
Amsterdam’s Red Light District usually draws the attention of tourists who’re on a tipsy stroll through the city centre. This time, the Red Light District is in the news for something totally different; last week musician Hugo van Heijningen and artist Orpheu de Jong opened the doors, well in this case the curtains, to a new project called Red Light Radio (RLR). RLR is an Internet radio station based in an old brothel. In front of the Red Light District’s audience, RLR will do live recordings of mixed local artists such as djs, metal bands, acoustic performances and more. You can stream RLR’s shows on its website or listen to previous shows.
