WKND brings our girl crushes from the 90s to skateboard decks

For their latest line skateboarding company WKND went back to the heroines that spiced up the classic movies of the 90’s and the soundtracks that accompanied them. The girls that made the cut are Laney Boggs from ‘She’s All That’, Peffercorn from ‘The Sandlot Kids’, Kim from ‘Edward Scissorhands’, Sloane from ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’, and Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star. But we especially love the limited edition ‘Penelope Cruizer’ starring – who else? – Penelope Cruz. The line of decks is classic WKND tongue-in-cheek and has been beefed up with a range of tees (featuring the same graphics), caps and knee high socks. This line will be available as of November, but you can make waiting easier by heading over to the WKND website and watch the fun-filled videos that gave them Internet-fame, starring skateboarders Raymond Molinar, Johan Stuckey, Christian Maalouf, Alex Smidt, and Nolan Benfield who roam the streets of California.
