We Are The Best! (or Vi är bäst! in Swedish) is a film about three 12 and 13-year-old girls who decide to form a punk band in 1980s Stockholm. On 6^th March, the film will premiere in Dutch cinemas and with the name of Lucas Moodysson (Mammoth, Lilja 4-Ever, Together) on the director’s and writer’s seat, it promises to be a good one. Moodysson based himself on a semi-autobiographical graphic novel by his wife Coco, resulting in a rare film about adolescence that caters for both teens and adults.
