Sofie Winterson’s highly anticipated first single will be released on 28^th February. Noisey will premiere the single and accompanying video, made by artist duo Pinar & Viola. Pinar & Viola is a creative studio that creates cutting edge contemporary images which are socially relevant and conceptual. The young and eclectic duo from Istanbul and Amsterdam – now based in Paris where the video was shot – is known for creating avantgarde image and predicting and signalling trends in image and culture. The ladies even have their own monthly column in Dazed & Confused in which they discuss trends and important phenomenons in pop culture.

Together with production house 100% Halal and a TAX fund, they made a video with international presence. In the video, Sofie Winterson plays a modern day dumpster diver living in her own dream world filled with impressive images by Pinar & Viola.

Sofie Winterson’s debut album is produced by Rimer London and is scheduled for release in spring, on Magnetron Music. In March she will play live at SXSW.
