Austra and Grimes are not the only electronic gems to be hailing from Canada, meet the two man band Purity Ring. Like many others they have risen from the blogosphere, with Ungirthed as their debut track. Without an album or even live shows they suddenly become ‘one to watch’ and refusing their initial impulse to self-record they launched their debut album Shrines with the label 4AD this year.
