Discover this week’s best in music videos with Diplo, Jessie Ware, and Woodkid.

1. Diplo ft. Swick, TT The Artist, Lewis Cancut – Dat A Freak

Directed by Maxime Bruneel (of French studio Chez Eddy), this video takes us on a twerking adventure across a kaleidoscopic and constantly changing background.

2. Jessie Ware – Tough Love

British soul singer Jessie Ware’s latest single ‘Tough Love’ is an elegantly devastating song that comes with a video reminiscing European experimental films from the early 1970s. The video is filled with golden-hour shots of Ware’s head, film changing from black and white to colour, and close-ups of plants and underwater faces.

3. Woodkid – The Golden Age

‘The Golden Age’ is the final single and video from Yoann Lemoine’s, aka Woodkid, debut album. In collaboration with composer Max Richter, the music you hear is actually a blend of ‘The Golden Age’ with a new version Richter’s ‘Embers’.

Directing all of his own videos, Woodkid is on a different level from everyone else. His videos slowly change from slick spectacles with heavy effects to the exact opposite.

I slowly removed all digital and post-production layers of my work to finally create this piece. It is somehow a postcard from my childhood, with the memories and emotions from the countryside assembled together in a long, free, mellow piece. – Yoann Lemoine
