One way or another, everything comes to an end. The phenomenal Mad Men’s series is coming to a close after 7 amazing seasons. Very unfortunate, but luckily the Museum of the Moving Image will house a new exhibition: Matthew Weiner’s Mad Men. It’s like Disneyland for people from the advertising industry.

The exhibition gives every fan the unique opportunity to take a walk into the world of Don Draper. Though the exhibition isn’t very big, there’s quite a lot to see. From the kitchen of the Draper family to the legendary office of Sterling Cooper. But let’s not forget the iconic costumes, hundreds of props, advertising art and video clips.

Visitors also get the chance to explore the creative process behind Mad Men, including personal notes and research material from the director Matthew Weiner. Even his personal collection of books is highlighted in the exhibition. For those who admire Weiner for his contribution to bringing back an era, the museum will also present ‘An evening with Matthew Weiner’ on March 20th. He will talk about the creation and production of the series, but there will also be a film series, selected by Weiner, featuring movies that inspired the show.

This exhibition opens on March 14th at the Museum of the Moving Image and ends one month after the final episode of Mad Men. The first episode of season 7 will air on AMC on Sundays at 10:00 PM ET/PT, from April 5 through May 17.
