From November 2009, photographer Laurence Von Thomas started asking talented amateur and professional photographers from all over the world to participate in his online project called If You Leave. As stated by Von Thomas: ‘If You Leave is more concerned with the impact of a single image, rather than a body of work by an individual artist. Snapshots of a journey made by wanderers, reflecting a mysterious yet uncannily peaceful feeling of desolation and loneliness.’

This explains why the website features single images by numerous photographers, which together form an interesting visual story. Recently, a book was published featuring the work of 96 photographers.
