In the realms of the musical chairs this year, right before Christmas it was announced that Vice the media company had bought the famous British fashion magazine I-D. It seems quite beneficial for both parties – where Vice has a strong online position but lacks the proper fashion coverage and I-D has the potential to grow in having a stronger online presence (at least that is what they aspire). We’ll see what happens, no one is apparently getting fired over it, so that’s good thing!
I-D has one the best cover concepts within the magazine industry; where the person portrayed always shows only one eye – mostly by giving a sexy ‘wink’ – or simply it being covered or hidden to some capacity.
