EMAHO FOUNDATION & LFI

At BLEND\BUREAUX we like to keep an eye on interesting exhibitions and projects. The Emaho Foundation is one of these.

The Emaho Foundation is an incredible initiative that was born with the goal to create opportunity in the field of  photography, particularly, identifying and valorising the works of outstanding photographers from Asia. The foundation is continuously creating  programmes and platforms for new and established Asian photographers to create a conducive environment for their photographic projects and flourish in their enterprise.

The Emaho Foundation’s “Emerging Photography Grant”, in partnership with LFI, is one of the pioneering efforts from Asia to provide both financial support and more importantly, an international platform from which to launch emerging photographers from within Asian boundaries.

On September 1, the Emerging Asian Photography Grant will be awarded for the first time. With this grant, the Emaho Foundation aims to support Asian photographers. The winner of the 2015 EMERGING ASIAN PHOTOGRAPHY GRANT will get the chance to realise a planned photo project with a Leica M from the LFI loan pool. The winner will also receive prize money amounting to $ 5.000! Afterwards the pictures may be published in LFI or in the blog. The work will also be exhibited at the New Art Exchange in Nottingham, UK.  Below someone you may just recognise with a wonderful LEICA.BLEND-BUREAUX-brad-pitt-leicaPhotographers still have up until July 31 to submit their works.
