Discover Delikatessen’s kale-inspired AW14/15 collection
Amsterdam label Delikatessen draws inspiration from kale for its Fall/Winter 14/15 collection. This so-called superfood is rich in calcium, provides loads of the vitamin alphabet, and is a source of copper, iron, manganese, and phosphor. Its graceful beauty, colours, minerals and power resemble those of the new shapes and fabrics that adorn the Delikatessen AW14/15 collection. Hailing from a hedonistic vegetable patch, Delikatessen harvests with boldness, authenticity and subtle refinement.
One of the innovations is the tangibly soft, vintage Wagayama knitwear from Japan that has been made in a slow fashion. Delikatessen adds staples to its collection with crude denim featuring a tough waffle structure, Italians wools made from ‘Lana Cotta’, sitting alongside a mix of cotton-wool-silk, vintage chambray, and double-sided coloured Japanese vintage crocheted cotton. Ever since 2009, Delikatessen has been at the forefront of straightforward fashion with a perfect fit. The brand distinguishes itself by combining traditional craftmanship with modern design. In the Netherlands the brand is available from a.o. Tenues de Nimes, Spoiled, and Black Sheep Road in Amsterdam, White in The Hague and Puha and Chris in Utrecht.
