Collages by David Delruelle
David Delruelle is a collage artist who was born in Brussels in 1988. He travels to visit different markets and second-hand bookshop to find old magazines and books from which he cuts pictures and reconstructing them into a new piece of art. By combining cutout imagery from historical artworks, sculptures, and anatomical diagrams with other antiquated ephemera, Delruelle creates a blend of realms aimed at getting us to rethink the images we see on a daily basis. He takes the art form to another level by crossing genres and often creating a slightly absurd contrast between our glorified body and our almost alien inner-workings.
