Club Sandwich (19th October) + exclusive interview with Aeroplane

Aeroplane

On Saturday 19th October, the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam will host a very special afternoon event – called Club Sandwich. It will be very special because Aeroplane will be turning tables for six consecutive hours (!), during which he will explore music history and his own eclectic musical influences. Early fans say it’s a last chance to catch the ‘old Aeroplane’, before he launches his new album.

What to expect from his set? New disco and house classics, combined with 80s synth pop and Italo, plus funk and hip hop classics. And let’s not forget his entire Aeroplane catalogue. Below we’ve included an exclusive interview with Aeroplane in which he discusses his show at Club Sandwich, among other stuff of course.

Club Sandwich will also offer a stage for Miss Melera’s eight hour set, on the Colourizon deck – next to the lunch box area. Miss Melera has toured the world, from Miami and Tokyo to Berlin and Amsterdam. Her melodic techno sound is bound to blow the audience away. She also hosts a popular radio show “Colourizon”, which reaches out to fans on stations like Proton Radio, Ibiza Sonica and Dance Paradise Radio among others, but most of all on her Soundcloud.

Exclusively for Club Sandwich she will play her Colourizon solo sets live, which are known for their danceability.

The details for Club Sandwich are as follows: taking place on 19th October from 12h-20h in the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, with tickets at €20 (excl. costs). Get them here or through the ADE website. The Facebook event can be found here.

Keep your eyes peeled, because in a couple of days we can give away a few tickets for Club Sandwich.
