BLK DNM brings attitude to denim

Swedish fashion designer Johan Lindeberg launched denim brand BLK DNM after settling in New York City in 2011. With over 5 years experience at Diesel and his own namesake label J. Lindeberg since 1996, Lindeberg has built a ferm connection with the denim industry. In a quest for a way to reflect his personal intuition, taste and lifestyle, denim label BLK DNM was born.

This unique denim concept mixes Lindeberg’s minimalistic Scandinavian roots with his fascination for New York’s street apparel and Parisian chic fashion. BLK DNM is not just another denim label, the brand designs classics with attitude, featuring leather and tailoring in addition to quality denim and accessories for both men and women. With key pieces dominating the BLK DNM collection,  the brand criticizes and stretches the way we have come to understand contemporary fashion labels. By updating products all year around instead of presenting seasonal collections, Lindeberg moves away from the seasonal fashion circle. In addition, Lindeberg documents the development of the brand and unpicks new layers, by expanding the brand’s strong and energetic culture on his blog  BLK DNM (CLOSE-UP).

Exclusivity is one of BLK DNM’s priorities, collections are available online and in limited outlets all over the world, including Amsterdam based concept-store SPRMRKT, which houses a broad selection of exclusive ready-to-wear collections for both men and women.
