For the 15th time the museums of Amsterdam will open up their doors with special activities and exhibitions for the annual Museumnacht on the 1st of November. From 19.00 to 02.00 art lovers and culture fanatics are invited to make their way to 50 participating museums. With music performances, special exhibitions, tours and DIY projects you have a sea of opportunities to go and experience the art Amsterdam has to offer. 18.00 Oude Kerk – Oudekerkseplein 23
Start of the night with some musical entertainment at the Oude Kerk where JETT REBEL will take the stage. His performance does not only kick off Museumnacht but also premieres the first live performance of Rebel’s official debut album ‚Hits for Kids’.

20.00 Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten – Sarphatistraat 470
Do you have a love for art and want to look beyond  the signs and information given? Take part in the Rijksacademie crash course and learn HOW TO LOOK AT ART.

22.00 CBK Amsterdam – Oranje Vrijstaatkade 71
Experience the newest fashion talent Amsterdam has to offer at REMADE COUTURE. A diverse group of young designers have been asked to present their work, including young talent Siu Lie Tan, who will be showing 8 handmade couture pieces made out of nothing but residual waste. 23.00 Amsterdam Museum – St. Luciensteeg 27
Find hidden street art treasures in Amsterdam-West during this STREET-ART TOUR. In this 45 minute tour Anna Stolyarova, curator of Street Art Museum Amsterdam, will lead you past the most impressive street-art in Amsterdam. 24.00 Rijskmuseum – Museumstraat 1
To coincide with the Rijksmuseum’s newest exhibition: Modern Times. Photography in the 20th century, the museum has openend up a DIGITAL PLAYGROUND. Experiment with the developments of contemporary photography and be surprised by the startling effects of the camera.

01.00 Foam Fotografiemuseum – Keizersgracht 609
Finish the night with a good cocktail whilst dancing to the beats of WAVEFILES in FOAM (TIP: FOAM also hosts a light installation through J.H. Engström’s photography and the work of artist Anika Schwarzlose)
